Memories... from a time when people had the time to sit down at a café, converse and listen to live music. Czardas, serenades and beautiful waltzes were performed by an orchestra or a trio at all cafées with self-esteem. A young, skilful ladies orchestra was not an unusual occurrence. It was important to attract customers to the restaurant in all possible kind of ways! The women had to work hard. They played almost every evening of the year, had a bad salary and didn´t always get the estimation they so well deserved.
